Chris Meibers - Partner / Financial Architect
Chris Meibers has 18+ years of executive leadership experience in developing experiential consumer brands and implementing proper strategic growth initiatives. Chris is an active franchisee and business advisor in B2B services brand, FocusCFO. Additionally, Chris is a partner/investor in several other emerging franchise brands in the hospitality space.
Previously, Chris was CFO for the nation's largest indoor cycling brand, CycleBar Franchising, from their launch in early 2015 through 2018. He served as CFO for one of the nation's largest franchise development firms, St. Gregory Development Group, from 2015 through early 2018. During this tenure, Chris assisted in developing franchise growth plans for many experiential brands across the fitness, health + wellness, personal services, and hospitality industries. From 2010 through 2015, he served as CFO and Dir. of Business Development for Taste of Belgium restaurant group located in Cincinnati, OH. From 2007 - 2010, Chris was Corporate Controller and Operations Manager for The BarFly Group in Charlotte, NC, which was one of the nation's premier hospitality consulting and management firms during this period.
Chris has been instrumental in over 230+ new unit openings across a variety of industries and multi-unit brands over the last 18 years, including leadership in all areas of financial strategy, operational efficiency, and bottom-line optimization. Chris is a proud alum of Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH, where he resides with his wife, son, and 2 dogs.
James Luy - Partner / Organizational Engineer
James Luy has 5+ years of executive experience developing and executing proper growth initiatives across a variety of national franchise brands. James is currently acting as the Director of Operations for Shred415 Franchising, Director of Project Management for The NOW Massage Franchising, as well as a strategic advisor for multiple consumer brands domestically.
Previously, James acted as a Real Estate, Construction & Financial Specialist for the nation's largest indoor cycling brand, CycleBar Franchising, from their launch in 2015 through early 2018. Throughout his tenure, James has assisted in developing franchise growth plans, constructing franchisor teams, establishing scalable programs, while also working directly with franchise partners to ensure efficient growth and ultimately achieve profitability.
